Extech MO-280 Digital Pinless Moisture Meter
Description:
The Extech MO-280 Digital Pinless Moisture Meter is used to evaluate moisture levels below the surface of a material without the need to carry out invasive measurements using pins. It's ideal for multiple materials, including many different types of wood (which is easily damaged by excessive moisture).
When in use it evaluates moisture from 0 to 99%, and gives the user quick evaluation of moisture to a depth of 0.75" below the surface of the material being evaluates. By clicking the buttons on the front of the device it's possible to easily switch between 10 different wood types or measurement ranges, and the device uses internal self calibration procedures to ensure that results taken are as accurate as possible. The MO-280 is also a highly portable, lightweight unit that's ideal for testing in multiple environments.
