The Extech EX570 12 Function True RMS Industrial Multimeter with IR Thermometer is a multi-functional and powerful multimeter that comes with an IR thermometer built in. The IR thermometer gives you the ability to easily and swiftly recognise electrical panel hotspots or motors that are overheating.
The built-in IR thermometer in the EX570 is a non-contact device. Locating hot spots could not be easier thanks to the use of laser pointer technology that can quickly and conveniently track down hotspots. This is especially useful when trying to gather temperature readings from hard-to-reach electrical panels or HVAC vents.
There are several functions on board this multimeter including RELATIVE, HOLD and PEAK HOLD to give you ultimate manipulation of your readings. It is also possible to retrieve average, maximum and minimum records all from one device. The multi-functionality continues with frequency, diode, continuity and capacitance features to give you a flexible and versatile multimeter.
The Extech EX-570, 12 Function True RMS Industrial MultiMeter with IR Thermometer is made to last and has been heavy duty double moulded for a durable build. It has also been constructed with high-quality water resistance to help you work in whatever nature throws your way. As well as this, the test leads of the Extech EX570 are also double moulded for extra durability and safety.
This multimeter has a crystal-clear 40,000 count LCD display that is brightly backlit to provide maximum visibility. Alongside the digit display is a 40-segment bar graph to provide you with more in-depth analysis of your readings whilst on the go. Portability and convenient handling is a large feature of the Extech EX570’s design and it comes with a carry case and magnetic hanging strap. This multimeter runs off a 9V battery and also comes with an auto-power off feature that helps you preserve that all-important battery life.
